PSYCHIC FEVER Embrace Individuality And Global Ambition With Second Album "DIFFERENT"

PSYCHIC FEVER is back with a "DIFFERENT" sound. More than simply a title, DIFFERENT represents the very foundation of PSYCHIC FEVER's identity. Each member brings their own personality, style, and artistic perspective to the group, and rather than trying to blend those differences into one single image, the album celebrates the unique qualities that make them stronger together. Through a combination of diverse genres, personal storytelling, and creative involvement from every member, PSYCHIC FEVER presents their most authentic and ambitious project yet.

Formed under LDH JAPAN, PSYCHIC FEVER is a seven-member group consisting of KOKORO, WEESA, TSURUGI, RYOGA, REN, JIMMY, and RYUSHIN. The group officially debuted in 2022 with their first album *P.C.F*, introducing their energetic performance style and genre blending approach to Japanese pop music. Since their debut, PSYCHIC FEVER has continued building a reputation as one of Japan's most exciting emerging acts, combining powerful choreography, strong vocal and rap abilities, and a willingness to experiment with sounds beyond traditional J-Pop boundaries. Their journey has been defined by constant evolution. Rather than limiting themselves to one specific style, PSYCHIC FEVER has embraced influences from across the global music landscape, creating a sound that reflects both their Japanese roots and their international ambitions. That approach has helped the group connect with fans across different countries while establishing a clear artistic identity built around creativity and individuality.

With DIFFERENT, PSYCHIC FEVER takes that evolution even further. The album moves effortlessly between nostalgic Y2K inspired R&B, UK garage, Afrobeats, trap influences, and emotional pop ballads, creating a project that feels both cohesive and unpredictable. Working alongside Grammy nominated producer Rykeyz, known for his collaborations with artists including Chris Brown and H.E.R., the group delivers a more mature sound while maintaining the energy and charisma that have always defined their performances. One of the most significant aspects of DIFFERENT is the personal involvement from all seven members. For the first time, every member contributed to songwriting throughout the album, allowing each artist's individual perspective to become part of the project's overall story. This creative participation transforms the album from simply a collection of songs into a reflection of who PSYCHIC FEVER has become and where they hope to go next.

Leading the album's release is focus track "If You're Mine," an opening track produced by JIGG with songwriting contributions from WILJAM. The song immediately establishes the confidence and versatility that define this new era, combining infectious melodies with the group's polished performance style. Its accompanying music video highlights two different sides of PSYCHIC FEVER, first capturing their playful energy and natural chemistry before shifting into a more sophisticated and powerful visual direction.

The first half of the video embraces the group's bright and charismatic appeal, showcasing their expressions, movement, and effortless connection with the music. The atmosphere then transforms as the members appear on an airport runway surrounded by two aircraft, delivering sharp choreography while dressed in sleek black styling. The dramatic setting reflects the group's expanding global presence, symbolizing movement, ambition, and the journey ahead as PSYCHIC FEVER continues reaching new audiences around the world. Throughout DIFFERENT, the group demonstrates their ability to move comfortably between completely different musical worlds. "Masterpiece" introduces a confident Y2K inspired sound filled with attitude and nostalgia, while "I Got Ways" brings a smoother R&B influence that highlights the group's vocal abilities. The pre released track sets the tone for a more mature and refined side of PSYCHIC FEVER, allowing listeners to experience the group's growth beyond their high energy performances.

"Diamond" continues the album's message of confidence and individuality, delivering an empowering track centered around recognizing personal value and embracing what makes someone unique. Meanwhile, "Cinderella Pt. 2" and "Into You" explore Afrobeat influences, adding rhythmic elements that further showcase the group's willingness to experiment with global sounds. Rather than simply borrowing from different genres, PSYCHIC FEVER blends these influences into their own style, creating music that feels natural to their identity. The album continues with "Dream Flight," a smoother and more emotional track that highlights the group's vocal harmonies and softer side. "Uh Oh" brings a playful energy, offering a different kind of charm while maintaining the confidence found throughout the project. "Pink Lemonade" adds another colorful moment to the album with its refreshing and upbeat atmosphere, capturing the youthful energy that has always been part of PSYCHIC FEVER's appeal. Closing track "Glowing" leaves listeners with a soaring and emotional finale, representing both reflection on their journey and excitement for what comes next.

"Every member has their own personality and their own color, and we wanted this album to represent that,"

JIMMY shared.

"The title DIFFERENT reflects not only the music itself, but also who we are as seven individuals. Because we're all different, we can create something unique together. We hope listeners can discover different sides of PSYCHIC FEVER through this album."

That message feels especially fitting considering the group's rapid growth over the past several years. Their breakthrough hit "Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY" became a viral sensation across Asia and beyond, generating more than 270 million TikTok views and appearing on Spotify Viral Top 50 charts in multiple countries. The success of the track helped introduce PSYCHIC FEVER to a wider international audience and opened the door for new opportunities around the world. Since then, the group has continued expanding their global presence through their first U.S. tour, performances at SXSW Austin and Sydney, a worldwide partnership with Warner Music Group and 10K Projects, and a touring partnership with The Team. Each milestone has reinforced PSYCHIC FEVER's position as one of Japan's most promising international acts, proving that their unique approach to music has the ability to resonate far beyond borders.

With DIFFERENT, PSYCHIC FEVER brings a statement about who they are as artists. The album celebrates individuality while highlighting the power of collaboration, proving that seven distinct voices can come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. As Japanese pop music continues reaching new audiences worldwide, PSYCHIC FEVER stands as an example of how cultural identity and global influence can exist together. Through bold production, diverse musical influences, and the unmistakable personalities of its members, DIFFERENT captures a group embracing every side of themselves while confidently stepping toward the future.
