Dipping our toes into July with the blaring 100-degree temperatures it’s no surprise that right now is the perfect time for summer-themed discography to cool fans off. On today's weather forecast with their fiery energy album after album, (G)-IDLE makes their spirited return to the music scene with the album 'I Sway.'
5-member group (G)-IDLE has made their name in the K-Pop scene worldwide releasing consecutive hit tracks. Making their mark in all subgenres of K-Pop they have proven their full capability of being able to execute any brainstormed concept idea flawlessly in a style that is authentically themselves.
'I Sway' consists of four scorching hot new tracks to match the blazing hot heat of the summer. This album embodies the feelings of drinking a nice tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day and feeling relief at the end of the glass.
The first glance of the ice-cold lemonade sitting at our table after receiving it would be the track "Klaxon", the title track for this album. Just like the sensation of receiving something you've been having your mind set on and finally having it in front of you knowing it's yours, you feel that same level of bliss after listening to "Klaxon". With the added sound effects of cars honking and trip-themed lyrics, you transport into a moment of taking a trip with your friends out to the beach and having the time of your lives. With the wind blowing in your hair, with your support systems next to you all your worries disappear in that moment just like the feeling of knowing you will be cooled off from the glass of lemonade waiting for you.

Picking up the glass and finally about to take the first sip is the track “Last Forever.” With a more cutesy dreamy backtrack, you are caught in a daydream along with their vocals.
"I want it, stay here, don't sway, seek dreams I wanna make my passion last forever Stay here, where my hopes play With every heartbeat, my resolve is bright yeah"
With this almost complete English track just taking a glance at the lyrics, tugs at your heartstrings with its inspirational message. (G)-IDLE has always made their mark when it came to their vocality & this song perfectly captures the essence of why their group is so well loved for their vocal ranges. "Bloom" is the first sip of the cold lemonade your mouth was waiting to take a sip from. Just like an image of fireworks popping in your head taking that first sip of a cold beverage in the hot weather and it is everything you've ever dreamed of, "Bloom" makes sure to convey that sensation musically. This romantic track-loving track is one you can't help but fall in love with instantly.
"Neverland" is that final feeling of euphoria after finishing off the glass. Like the Neverland that is always mentioned in movies signifying utopia and happiness, the final track “Neverland” is a track for their fandom, ‘Neverlands, ‘ which brings them happiness just like the magical location.
"Landing on the way, 이제 완성될 반쪽짜리 여행 It's time to take my hand and smile"
For any avid movie watcher who is familiar with the land of Neverland this line might stick out as in Peter Pan he takes Wendy's hand and leads her to the magical land of Neverland.
