A.C.E, the five-member K-pop sensation under Beat Interactive, set the stage ablaze at Houston's House of Blues on July 1st. Composed of Park Junhee, Lee Donghun, Wow, Kim Byeongkwan, and Kang Yuchan, A.C.E debuted in 2017 with a mission encapsulated in their name: Adventure Calling Emotions. This represents their desire to evoke emotions that inspire fans to embark on adventures and realize their dreams.
Having returned stronger than ever from their mandatory military service in February, A.C.E’s popularity continues to soar, thanks to their daring concepts and impressive discography. Houston’s House of Blues was packed with Choice, their dedicated fanbase, eagerly awaiting the group’s [REWIND_US] Tour.
A.C.E kicked off the night in stylish denim jeans and black tops, layered with traditional kimonos, performing their hit "Goblin." The crowd roared with excitement, singing along and jumping with the group. The energy remained high as they moved on to "Savage," showcasing their perfectly synchronized dancing that left the audience captivated. Taking a moment to introduce themselves, both as a group and individually, A.C.E expressed heartfelt gratitude to Choice for attending the show. This marked the sixth stop of the tour, and the members thanked fans for their unwavering support during and after their hiatus.
Shedding their kimonos, A.C.E launched into "Changer," "My Girl," and "Facetime," maintaining the high energy. One of the most heartwarming performances was "Down," an English track produced by Grey, which the crowd sang loudly and in sync with A.C.E. Next was a performance of their latest release, "Supernatural," which truly encapsulates their unique color. The fans’ enthusiastic response highlighted how well-loved the song is. The group also delighted Choice with fascinating covers of "GODS" by NewJeans and "Cruel Summer" by Taylor Swift, showcasing their vocal range and versatility.

Approaching the final segment, A.C.E took turns expressing their gratitude to Houston Choice. They admitted to feeling nervous about touring again after their hiatus but felt reassured by the incredible energy from the fans. Joking about releasing two more albums and going on another tour before this one ended, they had the crowd laughing. Before the next performance, Yuchan looked up to the second floor, urging fans to stay safe. The anticipation built as the lights dimmed, revealing "Slow Dive." This beloved B-side, known for its enchanting siren vocals and sexy choreography, was a definite highlight of the show.
Excitement peaked as A.C.E got in formation to perform "Under Cover," one of their most popular tracks with a powerful live rendition that left fans in awe. Wrapping up the night, A.C.E joined the fans for a group picture, wearing colored cowboy hats brought by fans and shouting a loud and proud "Yeehaw!" to commemorate the night.
The encore performances of "Take Me Higher" and "Story," with the members still wearing their cowboy hats, provided a perfect ending to an unforgettable night. A.C.E’s return to the stage was highly anticipated, and they did not disappoint. The group displayed maturity and mesmerized with their visuals, vocals, and performance. Hearing early hits like "Take Me Higher" brought a sense of nostalgia, while experiencing the live performance of their latest release "Supernatural" left fans excited for the future.
Thank you for covering A.C.E's long-awaited U.S. tour. We really do love them. Our guys never disappoint. As a side-note, the garments A.C.E is wearing are assorted Korean hanbok, not Japanese kimono. 👍🏾
