Consisting of 4 members 一 CL, Dara, Park Bom, and Minzy 一 2NE1 made their debut on May 17, 2009, with the song, “Fire.” The 4-piece ensemble was created by the music label YG Entertainment. 2NE1 also has a unique meaning for their fandom name. Their fandom name is “Blackjacks”. In addition, 2NE1 fandom’s unique color is hot pink.
2NE1 has had an incredible journey towards becoming one of K-pop's most legendary girl groups. They have released world-hit songs such as “I am the Best” and “Come Back Home” to name a few. They have also had great success on the Billboard 200 Chart, World Album Chart, and World Digital Song Chart as well. Their uniqueness and ability to connect with their fans have captured fan’s hearts all around the world. Even with the group disbanding in 2016, fans' love for 2NE1 never stopped. Later in 2017, 2NE1 surprised their fans with one last song titled “Goodbye”. However, goodbyes are never truly goodbyes as 2NE1 surprised fans again in 2022, with the group reuniting at Coachella.
Now in 2024, YG Entertainment has announced 2NE1 return with a world tour. In honor of celebrating 2NE1’s 15th anniversary the K-pop group will be performing many shows around the world. Their tour will start in Seoul, South Korea before heading to Kobe and Tokyo, Japan. The tour will continue into 2025 with more locations to be announced at a later date.
